How to convert MKV files to WMV for Xbox 360

I have some MKV anime files that I want to play them on my  Xbox 360, but every time I try, my console does not work at all. Xbox 360 supports the following for WMV:

I followed these settings, and the output files actually  worked on my console, and the trial version just has Pavtube logo stands in the  center of the image. I think it is well worth buying. Following is its intuitive UI, and only within several  steps the conversion will be finished flawlessly.

Video bit rate: 1500kbs

Even though  it is announced that Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus software has added

AVCHD camcorder  support and users can import and edit high definition footage from AVCHD  camcorder discs, and convert to standard definition formats, but I still met  troubles while importing the HD .m2ts files captured by means of a HD Sony Handycam type  HDR-CX11E (PAL), I guess it is not as powerful as it claims.

I have to look around for a practical  and affordable program to help me out. My only objective is to convert these  .m2ts files to .avi files, so that I can edit them with Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus, and burn them into a SD DVD for playback  on the DVD player connected to my TV, as well as computer DVD Player software  on computers. Fortunately, I came across Pavtube HD Video Converter, it is easy  to use and helpful, I finally successfully converted .m2ts files to .avi  format, and the output files are in good quality, without any problems while  editing in MovieFactory 6 Plus. Click “Settings”  button, then the following window will enables you to adjust all video and  audio parameters on it, including codec, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate,  sample rate, and audio channel. That means you can customize the settings in  your own ways.

4. Click “Convert” button to start conversion

Once finished, you can get the output AVI files via  clicking on “Open” button. After that, Corel Ulead DVD  MovieFactory 6 Plus will be able to recognize these files. You can now edit the  files and author them to a new DVD.

Convert M2TS to MPEG with MTS/ M2TS Converter

Because of the victory over HD DVD in the format war,  Blu-ray disc has established its own reputation in this field. The one who does  not have Blu-ray movie collections may be considered out of date. As a matter  of fact, BD has become the symbol of high quality movies-high resolution,  crystal image, and theater-like surround sound.

However, it’s uneasy to keep a large number of Blu-ray  discs in a tidy way, especially when you have hundreds of discs. The processing of converting DVD to popular video formats is lossy compression, which means the quality damage is inevitable. But we can decrease the damage by converting DVD to MKV and other HD video formats.
